Fiona Crozier achieves her 4th Plant Operations NVQ with CADUK through our unique e-assessment route

Multi skilled Plant Operator Fiona Crozier achieves her 4th Plant Operations NVQ with CADUK through our unique e-assessment route!

FIONA CROZIER completed her Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Plant Operations (Crawler Crane) with the support of specialist Plant NVQ Assessor John Bull.

Fiona was already a multi-faceted Plant Operator having achieved NVQs in 360 degree Excavator, Forward Tipping Dumper and Telescopic Handler.

For several years before she took up operating Plant full time she used to work for CAN geo carrying out rope access work along the railway banks and sea land slides at Dawlish, Lime bay.

John carried out the assessment process using CADUK’s own e-assessment portal. This system simply allows the assessor to carry out an on-site assessment in the normal way (i.e. on-site observation, professional discussion and the collection of workplace evidence), the difference being that the whole assessment process is recorded electronically and can be viewed by the internal verifier within seconds of the assessment taking place. This process ensures that (if appropriate) CADUK can apply for learner certificates the very same day the assessment takes place.

John explained that as soon as he met and started to interview Fiona “it was obvious that she’s passionate about construction, particularly operating cranes. She is an excellent role model for other females considering a career in construction”.

Fiona is currently self-employed working as a crane operator currently Jackson Cranes and is keen to expand her client base of companies.

Fantastic work Fiona, well done!
