Pearson Edexcel have released the 2019 version of the Level 7 NVQ Diploma in Construction Senior Management.

Potential job roles include Contracts and Production Managers and Commercial ManagersOperations Directors of smaller construction companies, Property and Facilities Managers and Specialist Construction Managers; as well as those in Construction Project Management – i.e. those who oversee projects from inception to decommissioning, who advise stakeholders and who form and lead project delivery teams.

The introduction of this new qualification has ensured that the roles and accountabilities of the Construction Manager are more clearly identified and defined. This qualification is comparable to a Masters Degree in terms of academic value.

Candidates have to reflect on their own professional practice through a professional discussion and provide workplace evidence to meet the standards to demonstrate to their assessor (all of our Level 7 assessors are Fellows or Members of the CIOB) how they carry out their occupational role.

On the 2019 version of this qualification the use of Professional discussion is now a mandatory assessment method, which is why it is vital that the assessors at this level have both the experience and the qualities to draw out your applied knowledge and experience.

CADUK have a innovative e-assessment process that can facilitate professional discussions and workplace evidence online.

Within a few months, learners that undertake this qualification could:

  1. Become a Member of The Chartered Institute of Building (Chartered Construction Manager)
  2. Be in possession of a Black CSCS Card

Achievement of this qualification will demonstrate to employers that you have the most up to date skills, knowledge and experience relating to the occupational role.
