The ProQual Level 6 NVQ Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety Practice is the new benchmark that is challenging the NEBOSH Diploma which most Health and Safety practitioners have opted for in terms of furthering their professional development, accessing professional status with IOSH and gaining access to enhanced workplace opportunities.
The ProQual Level 6 NVQ is now the highest level competence based qualification in Health & Safety (Comparable to a Bachelor Degree). The qualification was developed in partnership with IOSH the Chartered body for health and safety professionals and is registered on Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF).
This new qualification is designed for those involved in the practical application and/or management of health and safety and is appropriate to learners from a variety of sectors including Construction.
To gain access to the qualification they will have to demonstrate that:
- They have an autonomous role in their organisation for managing health and safety policy and practice.
- They report directly to or are part of the senior management team.
- They recommend and implement changes relevant to their role.
- They are aware of cost implications and budgetary control.
The assessment of the ProQual Level 6 NVQ Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety Practice can be tailored to individual’s needs and requirements. The assessment process has no requirement for you to undertake exams, assignments or attend training workshops and can be assessed totally on line using our bespoke on line interactive media.
