What is the CITB Employer Network?
The CITB Employer Network is designed to make workforce training more accessible for UK construction businesses. Through this initiative, companies can receive up to 70% funding for a wide range of training programs, helping to develop employee skills while maintaining industry compliance.
To be eligible, businesses must be registered with the CITB levy system and have an up-to-date levy payment. The scheme allows companies to claim up to £32,500 in funding, with CITB covering 70% of the cost—meaning £25,000 worth of training could be funded for you.
Who can sign up to the CITB Employer Network?
Getting involved is simple and It’s free to join! To be part of the Employer Network, businesses just need to:
- Be registered with CITB
- Be up to date with levy payments
- Sign up for the Employer Network (see the red button below)
We're signed up, how do I start a training application?
Before starting your CITB training application, it’s a good idea to apply for the NVQ with us first.
To do this, just browse the qualifications on our website, then click the red ‘Click Here To Apply‘ button which is found on each NVQ page. This button will take you to the initial profiling tool form for your chosen NVQ.
Once you have completed one of these profiling forms, one of our assessors will call you back for a (free of charge) profiling session. This short telephone session is designed to ensure that you have the skills knowledge, experience and evidence needed to be sucessful.
Once an assessor has approved you to enrol onto an NVQ, you can then reach out to your CITB local engagement advisor and let them know that you want to complete your NVQ with CADUK, and that you have already been approved to enrol onto the NVQ by one of our assessors.
Your CITB advisor will then contact us to confirm the booking.
Once we have confirmed the booking with CITB, we’ll send you the invoice for 30% of the total NVQ cost, then you can start right away.
How can I find my local CITB Engagement Adviser?
You can find your local CITB Engagement Advisor by using the the CITB’s advisor search tool.
These advisors are there to help with funding, training, and industry support. You can also reach out to CITB directly through their customer services team or check their social media pages for updates on local events and contacts.
100% Funding?
Typically, CITB funds up to 70% of training costs, requiring employers to cover the remaining 30%.
However, for a limited time, CITB is providing 100% funding for select NVQs, provided that learners are registered by March 31, 2025.
Our NVQs that are eligible for this 100% funding are as follows:
Level 6 NVQ Diploma in Construction Contracting Operations Management
Level 6 NVQ Diploma in Construction Site Management
Level 7 NVQ Diploma Construction Senior Management
Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Health and Safety Leadership and Management
