How are these qualifications assessed?
Most our of our qualifications can be assessed one of two ways:
- Through written work – where work is submitted to the assessor for review and feedback through our online ePortfolio portal.
- Through a discussion-based assessment – where you will ‘talk your way’ through the qualification criteria over a series of online Zoom meetings. This method involves no written work.
The discussion-based assessment is usually recommended for the more experienced candidates who are established in their role and can talk very confidently ‘off the cuff’ about their work.
Less-experienced candidates are generally best suited to the written-work (ePortfolio) assessment where they can progress at their own pace, developing themselves along the way with advice and guidance from the assessor.
Prior to enrolment (during the initial profiling process) one of our assessors will speak with each candidate directly to determine whether they would be best suited to the discussion assessment or the written assessment.
What do you offer at Level 7?
Although generally our Managerial NVQs at Level 6 are delivered ‘interactively’ online, we can now offer new help candidates complete their New Level 7 in Construction Senior Management qualification in a very short space of time. This will involve you and your assessor engaging in a professional discussion. Learners will need to prepare all the required evidence and documentation for the assessor to review beforehand.
In order to be successful in this on-site fast-track route, candidates will need to be very experienced and be able to confidently speak about their job role in detail. These Managers will have already gained the skills, knowledge and experience required to complete this qualification on the job, over time, in a real construction-site environment.
How much do these qualification cost?
The Level 6 NVQs costs £1850 + VAT and the New Level 7 NVQ in Construction Senior Management costs £2100 + VAT (This included registration fees, assistance with CIOB etc).
